We provide a space where young minds can explore and express ideas, engage in independent thought, and demonstrate depth of knowledge across a variety of subjects.

 

It is not just a campus newspaper;

it’s a platform for academic inquiry, critical analysis, and thoughtful discussion.

With eight diverse sections,

GYP creates an environment where students can present well-structured arguments, explore complex topics, and provide insightful commentary on the issues that matter to them.

How It Works

Step 1

Register

  • Students register individually and pay the subscription Fee.

  • Once registered, students gain access to the GYP system.

Setp 2

Create Your Entries

  • Students can create and manage their entries within the platform.

  • Add co-authors (2-4 students per entry) to each entry. 

Step 3

Submit Your Entries

  • Students can submit their entries at any time during the academic year.

  • All entries must be submitted by the designated review deadline for each quarter. Submissions after the deadline will be included in the next quarter’s review cycle.

  • No Submission Limits: Students are encouraged to submit multiple entries, fostering continuous improvement and creativity.

Review and Feedback

  • GYP tutors review submissions, offering detailed feedback and critique.

Step 5

Publication and Awards

  • Reviewed entries that meet the standards are published on the GYP platform.

  • Published entries are evaluated, with awards given each quarter.

  • Each student will receive a certificate corresponding to their award level.

Who can participate in GYP?

GYP is open to high school students from around the world. If you have a passion for writing, creating, or sharing ideas, you can participate, regardless of your location or background.

What types of content can I submit?

GYP has eight sections where you can submit your work: Campus Pulses, Literature and Art Review, Comparative Thinking, Intellect in Words, Apex Stage, History Perspectives, Next Wave Business Review, and Professor's Academic Challenge. Each section caters to different types of content, from written articles to video presentations. You will have access to the submission guide of each section after registration.

What is the difference between GYP Basic and GYP Advanced?

GYP Basic allows you to submit articles exclusively to the Campus Pulses section, while GYP Advanced gives you access to all eight sections, allowing you to explore a wider range of topics and formats.

How do I register and submit my work?

To participate, you need to register individually. Once registered, you can access the GYP system to create and submit your work for review. You will need to collaborate with 2-4 students on a single work. Each co-author will need to register individually and pay the subscription fee to access the GYP platform.

GYP tutors will provide feedback, and the top articles will be further reviewed by The Harvard Crimson Global Program, which will select the top 3 articles from each section and provide comments.
